Sensitive City is an ideal yet not utopian city, set up
based on the relations, the memories and the dreams of its inhabitants. It is a
polycentric city, which has to be constructed and deconstructed each time it is
described and is deep, layered, filled with hidden deposits of emotions and
memories. The only way to explore it is to stop a passer-by and follow their
instructions.
Images and stories,
gathered in several Italian cities (Chioggia, Lucca, Matera, Siracusa,
Spoleto, Trieste),
make a never stopped city setting up, a big explosion in the space around; a
sort of extra dimension that visitors can explore, trying to find a contact
point with the dwellers sensivity.
